FEATURES
Everything a staffed studio needs to run the week.
Classdock is the signed-in operations app for tutoring and coaching teams. Same modules on Free and Pro.
Many instructors, one studio
Classdock is built for a staff, not a single desk. Assign any number of instructors, give each their own groups, and keep one roster, one attendance history, and one parent login across the business.
- ▸ Invite coaches by email; suspend or archive when they leave
- ▸ Each instructor signs in to their groups — not every roster in the building
- ▸ Admins see every course, batch, session, and monthly classes taught
- ▸ A solo coach can start as admin and instructor, then hire without migrating
Your catalog and groups that actually run
A course is what you offer. A batch is a running group of that course: one instructor, a weekly schedule, and enrolled students. Open a second batch of the same course to put another instructor on a different day or level.
- ▸ Tag courses by level, sport, language, instrument, or tool
- ▸ One instructor per batch — as many batches as you need
- ▸ Enrollment can be active, paused, withdrawn, or completed
- ▸ Archive a course or batch when it is no longer running; reactivate next term
Session + attendance, then one email
From Create attendance, the instructor picks their group, works through the roster, and optionally records today’s topic, notes, next lesson, and a resource link. Preview the email before you send it. Turn email off for a given session if you need to.
- ▸ One email to students, parents, that session’s instructor, and admin
- ▸ Instructors cannot back-date a session more than 48 hours
- ▸ Admins can log any group and correct a record when they need to
- ▸ Optional resource link for a recording, worksheet, or court booking
People and access
Nobody guesses a password. They get an invite, set one, and land in your portal — not a generic Classdock page. One Users screen to filter by role and status: invited, active, suspended, deactivated.
- ▸ Add students with contact details, timezone, and an optional parent
- ▸ Resend an invitation if someone never set a password
- ▸ Suspend or archive when an instructor or family leaves; reactivate if they return
- ▸ Invite admins if a front-desk manager or co-owner should run the studio with you
Owner visibility across instructors
The admin dashboard counts instructors, active students, courses, batches, enrollments, and classes in the last 30 days. The monthly instructor report lists classes taught per person — built for payroll conversations and “who is carrying Saturday.”
- ▸ Attendance list filterable by group, instructor, and date range
- ▸ Student profile: batches, enrollment status, attendance rate per group
- ▸ Instructor dashboard: upcoming classes, completed classes, their students
- ▸ Parents and students see only their sessions — across teachers
Your brand, not each teacher’s
Families sign in to Northside Tennis, Atelier Blue, or River Music School — not five different tools and not generic Classdock. Each studio is its own tenant. Your students, notes, and rosters are not mixed with another business.
- ▸ Each organization gets its own space (yourstudio.classdock.ai)
- ▸ Name and mark appear on login, sidebar, tab, and emails
- ▸ Roles match the job: admin, instructor, parent, student
- ▸ Parents and students can view records they belong to — they cannot mark attendance
Access that matches the job
